34 runs to go until 13.1

I just got back from my twice weekly tempo run and I have discovered that it helps to make the long runs a bit less painful. Of course, that doesn't mean tempo runs are less painful.

I felt strong on the tempo mile and ran a 7:59 for my tempo segment, mile two of three. I'm not that fast, but I was happy with that. My recovery mile went ok for most of it, but then I had a cramp in my right hamstring which made most of my leg ache. Now after icing both of my legs for a while they feel better so I think they'll be fine. I have another longer tempo run on Thursday so we'll see how that goes.
