Another day, more lifting! - (17/84)


I like this picture, she has so much focus! I seemed to be lacking that a bit tonight, I kind of sleepwalked through lifting tonight. I felt good enough, just not completely focused tonight. I do feel good that I got my workout in as I know it's really good for me. On to the workout report!

We started off the workout with dumbbell lunges and then walking starter lunges to finish off our quads. I like the stationary lunges for warming up and then walking lunges to really tire myself out. Then we moved on to stiff leg deadlifts for hamstrings. I like these a lot still because they are a full body motion and I can really feel the burn. Then it was on to calf raises for our final lift of the night. After that we had a crunches contest to make sure we were both getting a full ab workout in. Overall a good workout even though I seem to be a bit spaced off today. Don't you hate it when that happens?

I'll try to be with it a bit more in the upcoming blog posts. I need to make sure to come up with new things to write about in addition to the workout reports. I think I'll start doing some research on various fitness gear and other fitness topics and adding that to the blog with the workout reports. We all could share gear and workouts that we like and maybe find some new workouts to shake things up a bit!
