Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! - (13/84)

Here is an old picture of me on the Cliffs of Moher!
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! This is one of my favorite holidays of the year since I have Irish ancestors on both sides of my family. I have also lived in Ireland and studied at a University in Ireland for a time. The main thing I love about the Irish people are their fun loving spirit, their welcoming and inquisitive nature and their generosity. I remember so many wonderful experiences when I lived there from having a bed and breakfast owner let me use one of their family rooms to sleep in and an inn owner making dinner for me after the kitchen had closed for the night. I'll never forget all of the great people I met there. So I wish everyone good luck and blessings on you and your family on this day! May they last throughout the year.

For a workout today I went to two Taekwondo classes in a row. They were both fun and a really good workout! I'm still sweaty... It's good to get back out on the floor and kick a bit since I've been teaching so much lately. Not much else to report on the workout front. I think I'll count class as my cardio for the day and rest up for tomorrow's long run.

We also got an unexpected gift from mother nature on St. Pat's. SNOW! We woke up to about an inch of really light fluffy snow. It's not going to last long though, it should be in the 50s this week. So it's just kind of pretty for today.

Anyway, I'll keep the post short. Check out the picture above of me at the Cliffs of Moher in County Galway, Ireland from 1998. I was much thinner then... ah memories. Everyone write in or comment and let me know how your workouts are going!

Everyone be safe out there!

See you on the roads folks!
Alex
