Off to Maryland! - (51/84)

SUPER rainy here in Iowa today! I chose not to run last night as I didn't feel entirely like being a drowned rat. :)

I taught taekwondo class tonight and since I just had a few students, we worked on some specific items for each student and I also jumped in to do a bit of kicking on the heavy bag for a workout of my own. So I did get some cardio in.

The big news is that on Thursday morning I'll be on a plane to Maryland. I am going out there for a wonderful event, my big sister getting married! I'm very excited for her. Also at the end of the week I'll be running the Frederick Half Marathon. This is my first ever half marathon and I have learned a lot while training for the race. I'll try to take some pictures and post some travel run descriptions while I taper down for the race. At the end of the week I'll post a race report of how it goes and hopefully a picture of myself with my half marathon finisher's medal!
