I DID IT!!!
I am now officially a half marathoner! I'll post a race report soon, I want to make sure I get all of the details in and I need to pack to head home tomorrow. For now I'll just post my race summary and some pics. I was really happy to get that medal! My first one! (I'm a little excited about that...)Race Summary:

I'm pretty happy with that time for my first ever half marathon! I think I could run better in the next one with some more training and a re-habbed knee. I'm feeling ok after the race, but I am looking forward to getting to bed for sure!Thanks everyone for your support through this blog. It really kept me going today out there on the course and all through my training.

I'm really glad to have my first one done! Now I'm already signed up for the Des Moines Half Marathon in the fall and I am bringing a team with me! I'm also thinking about training for the North Face Endurance 50K that will be in Des Moines right around my 32nd birthday.
I guess I've got the bug. :-)
Congrats on the spectacular results. Those are some fine number Alex! You should be proud.
